How it’s made
Instead of broth,
the sauce soaks into the meat
Dakbokkeumtang, the house dish, is not the usual brothy kind: no potatoes, no vegetables, only chicken stir-fried in yangnyeom (Korean seasoning sauce). The sauce cooks deep into the meat, leaving a rich, savory taste and a light smoky aroma.
The fresh chicken and the red pepper powder are from Korea.

The chueotang that was on TV
Chueotang is cooked every day from Korean loach. There is no fishy taste — just a clean, deep flavor.
